Software is a set of instructions, data or programs used to operate computers and execute specific tasks is Called Software.

How many Types of Software:

There are two main types of software: systems software and application software. Systems software includes the programs that are dedicated to managing the computer itself, such as the operating system, file management utilities, and disk operating system (or DOS).

System Software:

System Software is the type of software which is the interface between application software and system.
For Example: 
System software’s are compiler, assembler, debugger, driver, etc.


Application Software:

On other hand Application Software is the type of software which runs as per user request.
 It runs on the platform which is provide by system software.
For Example: 
On other hand some examples of application software’s are word processor,
web browser,media player, etc.
